Municipalities in the State of New Jersey are required by state law to publish and receive bids from the public on items costing over $40,000 for communities with an appointed Qualified Purchasing Agent and that are not purchased through a State Contract. In order to enhance the competitive bidding process by broadening the population receiving notices, the Borough of Manasquan now publishes items for which they wish to receive bids on this web site in addition to the traditional means of advertising bids.
