Dog Licenses Information
All dogs seven months or older must be licensed. Proof of Rabies Inoculation is required.
- Neutered: $12.00
- Non-Neutered: $15.00
- Proof of neutering/spaying must be supplied unless previously recorded in our office
- Service Dog: No Fee (please provide certificate)
- $5.00 Late Fee Applied after January 31st
- Replacement Tag: $1.00
All Dogs must be licensed during January of each year regardless of when you purchased the license during the previous year. Licenses can be obtained throughout the year.
Rabies vaccination MUST have an expiration date after October 31 in the licensing year.
Rabies Vaccination Requirement: N.J.S.A. 4:19-15-3a requires that the duration of the immunity extends throughout at least the first 10 months of the 12 month licensing period.
You can renew/apply for your dog's license online or you may do it in person at Borough Hall, 201 East Main Street. 
If you have moved or your pet is no longer with you, please let us know. Email khoman@manasquan-nj.gov with your name, address & pets name.
ANIMAL CONTROL
Emergency Animal Control Services are provided to the Borough by the Associated Humane Societies, Inc. Contact the Police Dispatcher at (732) 223-1000, 24 hours daily or the Municipal Clerk at (732) 223-0544 ext. 235 to obtain their services.
Please note that feral cat colonies will be the responsibility of the person caring for the cats. They are excluded from the agreement between the Associated Humane Societies, Inc. and the Borough of Manasquan. Click here for Friends of Squancats information.
