Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Manasquan Recreation! Our department has a variety of programs and activities, both indoor and outdoor, that are offered year round and we can always use (and welcome) a helping hand with our larger programs.

After completing the Volunteer Form below, you will be contacted by a member of our staff.

Please be advised that all volunteers, per Borough ordinance, are subject to a criminal background check. Background checks are free of charge and valid for a period of two years. For your convenience, the background checks are conducted online through an encrypted platform. Applies to applicants 18 and older.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To be a volunteer you must:

Complete the Volunteer Application
Be able to commit to the length of the program
Be willing to share your enthusiasm for recreational activities with others
Complete a background check screening (no cost to you)
Attend training (if applicable)
Meet the specific expectations as discussed during the interview
