Euclid Ave./Watson Place/Holly Place Roadway Improvements COMPLETED

Improvements to the area of the eastern end of Euclid Avenue between South Potter Avenue and Perrine Boulevard and including Watson Place and Holly Place.  The improvements include roadway improvements, pedestrian and handicap accessibility improvements, crosswalk upgrades and drainage improvements. 

Funding:

During the summer of 2019  Borough engaged in a highly competitive process to qualify for very limited 2020 Federal Community Development Block Grant funds via a program administered by Monmouth County.  In September, 2020 the Borough was advised it had received the second highest award in the County, $160,000, to apply toward this project.

Work Scheduled:

Milling and Paving Operations will take place between Monday, June 21st and Wednesday June 23rd, weather permitting. 

Traffic will be closed in the vicinity of the following locations during this time:

Euclid Avenue between South Potter Avenue and Perrine Blvd

Watson Place between East Main Street and Euclid Avenue

Holly Place between Cedar Avenue and Euclid Avenue

residents are advised to move cars off of the affected streets and out of driveways ahead of time to avoid being "paved in".
