NOTICE TO SEA WATCH BEACH COMPLEX NEIGHBORS

Daily Operations: 8 am to 4 pm Monday thru Friday
General Contractor: Imperial Construction and Electric, Elizabeth, NJ
Sea Watch was an oceanfront restaurant and outdoor deck located on the beachfront at Ocean Avenue. The restaurant and outdoor eating area was destroyed during Hurricane Sandy in October of 2012. The project rebuild will include replacement of the 2-story structure with the following amenities:
Ground Floor:
- Locker Rentals
- Storage to support Sea Watch and the Manasquan Beach Park
First Floor:
- Beach Fare Concession
- Sundries Store
- Deck area for dining and public use
- Public Restrooms
- Lifeguard Office and Facilities
Site Plan
- Bungalows to be demolished and footprint to be incorporated into site plan redesign
- Aesthetic upgrades to existing brick-clad Pump Station building to match design of new building
- Potential improvements to existing Bath House
- Expansion and Development of a Bicycle Parking Lot to provide sufficient bicycle parking
- Pick up/drop off/turn around area
- Public Parking, with adequate ADA accessible spots
- Pedestrian enhancements including decorative walkways, benches, and ADA accessbility
- Landscaping
Funding:
The Borough has received over $100k in funding from FEMA for rebuilding Sea Watch.
