Special Needs Residents

Information For First Responders

The Manasquan Police Department has compiled a list of residents with special needs in times of emergency.
Examples of residents with special needs include but are not limited to:

  • Residents who are bedridden or otherwise limited in their ability to walk,
  • Residents who are sight, hearing or speech impaired,
  • Residents with other medical conditions or physical impairments that should be known by emergency response personnel
  • Residents who do not speak or understand the English language

This information is only made available to police officers, firemen, and emergency medical personnel responding to your residence. This information is also helpful if it ever becomes necessary to evacuate your area due to an emergency condition.

If you or a member of your household is a person with a special need in the event of an emergency you can download a Special Needs Resident Form or you can pick up a form at Manasquan Police Headquarters.
